Polypodium Leucotomos Extrakt (PLE)

Ist ein Farnextrakt, welcher in Mittel- und Südamerika schon von den Ureinwohnern zum Schutz vor der Sonne verwendet wurde.

Als patentierte Fernblock Technologie ist dieses Farnextrakt in allen topischen und oralen Heliocare® Produkten enthalten und schützt die Haut von außen und innen vor den schädlichen Einflüssen der Sonnenstrahlung.

Die Wirksamkeit von PLE wurde in zahlreichen Studien beschrieben und veröffentlicht.

Die Technologie

Der topische und orale Sonnenschutz mit Polypodium Leucotomos Extrakt, Fernblock®, ist weltweit unter dem Namen Heliocare® erhältlich.

Da Heliocare® sowohl zum Auftragen auf die Haut und auch als Nahrungsergänzungsmittel zum Einnehmen verfügbar ist, schützen diese Produkte sowohl von außen als auch von innen gegen die schädlichen Anteile des Sonnenlichtes.

Ursprung

Polypodium Leucotomos ist ein in Zentralamerika beheimateter Farn. Ursprünglich wuchs dieser Farn im Wasser. Im Laufe der Evolution passte sich die Pflanze an das Landleben an und entwickelte im Zuge dessen einen eigenen, natürlichen Schutz gegen die UV-Strahlung.

Aktinische Keratose

Patienten mit aktinischen Keratosen müssen sich besonders gut vor den schädlichen Strahlen der Sonne schützen. Die Firma Derma Enzinger hat aus diesem Grund Produkte auf den Markt gebracht, die Betroffenen hierbei helfen sollen.

AKTINISCHE KERATOSE – WAS IST DAS?
rötliche, manchmal auch hautfarbene raue Stellen, die nicht mehr abheilen, werden im Laufe der Zeit durch übermäßiges UV-Licht verursacht und finden sich an den so genannten „Sonnenterrassen“ des Körpers – im Gesicht, an den Handrücken oder im Bereich der männlichen Glatze. Das Risiko bei hellen Hauttypen und immunsupprimierten Menschen ist deutlich erhöht. Zusätzlich zu der richtigen Diagnose und Behandlung beim Dermatologen ist es wichtig, sich besonders gut zu schützen

Heliocare 360° AK Fluid
ist ein Medizinprodukt und unterstützt Risikopatienten mit einem besonders hohen Lichtschutzfaktor (SPF 100+). Potentiell entstehende Schäden werden durch 3 verschiedene DNA-Reparaturenzyme repariert. Der enthaltene Farnextrakt (PLE) ist in diesem Produkt besonders hoch konzentriert, so dass noch mehr freie Radikale neutralisiert werden können, bevor sie weitere Schäden verursachen.

Studien haben ergeben, dass eine zusätzliche Einnahme von Nicotinamid (eine besondere Form des Vitamins B3) das Wiederauftreten von aktinischen Keratosen deutlich verringern kann.
